Q. Can I choose to do an action twice that at the time I am not the correct level for, but I will be when I level up?
A. Yes. You declare the action that you want to do twice, regardless of if you can actually do that action. When it is time to do the action, you check to see if you can do it. If you can, you do it twice. If you can’t, you skip it and lose Black Magic Shoe’s effect.
Q. Can this card double a oneshot action?
A. No. You choose the action you will double before you level up, before a oneshot ability is played. When you level up with your oneshot ability, it is after you have chosen what you will double with Black Magic Shoes.
Q. Can Black Magic shoes stack with itself (if I had only two black magic shoes would the action repeat only twice, three, or four times)?
A. If you copy an ability with a second Black Magic Shoes, then it happens 3 times.
Q. Can I have more than one of the same boss on the playing field at the same time?
A. No. Only one unique boss can be on the playing field at the same time. You can have multiple diferent bosses on the playing field at the same time.
Q. Can a boss monster attack and do its boss action on the same turn?
A. Yes, a boss monster will perform his actions and then attack.
Q. Do boss actions count as character actions?
A. Boss actions are just that, Boss actions. They are not character actions.
Q. When a card refers to a monster, does it refer to only a regular monster and not a boss monster? Example: Poisonous Mushroom says "The next time your opponent plays a monster, destroy that monster and this item." Will this kill a Boss?
A. Bosses are monsters. If a card says destroy a monster that includes bosses unless otherwise noted on the card itself.
Q. If I had used Black Magic Shoes to double an ability, when I play Papa Pixie's Time Warp, do I repeat the action twice that was doubled?
A. The whole list gets replayed. The copies (from Black Magic Shoes) do not get the effect and not replayed, because they aren't on the "list" of abilities.
Q. Will Poisonous Mushroom destroy Barnard Gray who is Thief Proof?
A. Yes. Poisonous Mushroom does not damage creatures, but destroys them outright.
Q. Poisonous Mushroom is in play. If opponent turns Black Dragon into a monster will Poisonous Mushroom destroy Black Dragon?
A. No. Black Dragon is an Item when it is played, so is not affected by Poisonous Mushroom. When it becomes a creature, it is not being played so it is still safe from Poisonous Mushroom.
Q. Can creatures prevent this damage, like they would with a character action?
A. Yes, creatures prevent damage from all attacks unless there is a special effect like perfect aim or a maple soul searcher is equipped.
